“So walking into this place on a Saturday night and it wasn't busy I was a little skeptical how this experience was going to be. Surprisingly, this place is a gem. We ordered some garlic naan and the chicken marsala with some chicken and peppers. The server warned us about the spice level and my wife told him she wants it spicy. The server WooHan got excited that we wanted it spicy and got our food. I would definitely go again. I'm thinking nobody being there is a fluke because the place is too good and the prices are also reasonable for this place not to be more packed.”

“Saffron (Taj Mahal formerly) is my new FAVORITE Indian restaurant in entire Maryland! As a matter of fact, this is the ONLY Indian restaurant I have visited once a month in last 6 months. So many options for authentic Indian food with superior taste and quality accompanied by an excellent bar and amazing customer service - I'm thoroughly impressed. The new owners are extremely detail-oriented and very delightful people. Not only in the front, but back in the kitchen as well, they have completely different sets of pots and pans and oils and everything for vegetarian and non- veg items! Being a vegetarian myself, my mind was completely blown with nothing but admiration and appreciation. “Unfortunately, they opened a little late on the day that I recently visited for the first time, and some of the food on the lunch buffet was cold, and the naan was not fresh. 🫤 Nevertheless, everything that I tasted was great! Service was good. The pricing is fair. The atmosphere was great. I love the decor and the traditional music. By the time I left, the place was almost packed, which is a testament to how good it is.
